As a black man in America, no one owes me anything. This Country has given me a wealth of opportunities. I do well for myself. All it takes is hard work, and being accountable for your actions. I’m neither a victim nor oppressed. I’m an American citizen who enjoys all the rights and privileges all other hard working Americans enjoy.
OK, there are black voters that are stupid and will go along with what Nuson says. There are white voters who will go along with what Newsom says. So what the hell does skin color have to with anything? I have no control over my skin color and find myself wondering if a black guy does. I had ancestors who fought in the Civil War to free the slaves. It was part of our history. A very bad part but at one time it was a way of life for the wealthy to have slaves. Was it right? ABSOLUTELY NOT! Should it be remembered and studied so it won’t happen again? YOUR DAMN RIGHT!
