My personal takeaway, is that these people rate ESG above surviving as a brand. They are marketing to people who aren’t their customers and telling their customers “we don’t want you, go pound sand”. This is beyond stupid, it is cult behavior.
I was in my 20’s when the Bud Light brand really began to blow up in the 90s. What I remember is that the commercials were FUNNY. Now, the commercials aren’t funny at all. But the people dunking on Bud Light are hilarious! I don’t see this going any way other than towards the demise of this brand and will harm Transheiser Busch!
