As a naturalized American I whole heartedly agree. I always thought that “hyphenation” is equivalent to “separation”. I became an American, learned the language, embraced the customs and immersed myself completely into becoming an AMERICAN. Assimilate otherwise why immigrate, as nobody is forcing you to leave your homeland. Just my opinion.

I came to the United States from communist Cuba in 1960. I became a citizen and served in the U.S. Marines. There’s a lot of immigrants to the United States that have no love for this country and have no intentions to assimilate. I blame the government for not being prudent in properly selecting who comes to this country.

  1. Alot of this hyphenated crap came from dummycrat FDR. FDR is the one who sent American Japanese to prison camps after they had their belonging STOLEN from them based solely on their race. There never was any attempt made to re-imburse any of these people after the war, even though some joined the U.S. military and served as interpreters in the Pacific and other fought the Germans/Italians in Europe. Yes, there were some Japanese spies in the U.S. but most were here before the Pearl Harbor attack. The BI found several German spies operating in the US before and during the war, but no American Germans or American Italians were ever sent to prison camps based solely on race. The dummycrats even divided the American people during WW2. Stupid!
