I’m a nineteen year old who works as an electrician in Georgia.
I started less than two years ago and am already leading a crew. This is the sixth job I’ve had since I was 15. I left every previous job on good terms with my previous employers.
I even have been approached by two of them to see if I would come back to work for them.
If a job isn’t for you then work your tail off until another job is available, don’t sit and cry; do something!

Love your work JP!!
Keep it up!!

I worked with a guy who never turned down overtime, and overtime was so available that you could almost suck up enough of it to have no life beyond work at all. He explained the reason he did it was because he’s lazy. His 10 year plan was to invest enough money to retire early and go live the lazy life he aspired to. Comical that he thought he was lazy, but for sure he was playing the long game and understood delayed gratification, something I’ve never seen in Gen Z.
