1. what was Shaprio’s statement that is claimed to be hypocritical? because he supported the ban of violent actions of the demonstration for Gaza but not Israel? These demonstrations that support Gaza have always turned violent. He supports protecting the public first. He doesnt speak about the demonstrations for Israel because they are generally small and are none violent. many who support the gaza cause havent a clue of what realy went on with Isreals responce to gaza’s attack that took hostages that were civilians who made no attack upon them. over the years billions have been spent for Gaza that could have brought them well into a modern day lifestyle. bringing their infrastructure up to the best available anywhere. provided a way to start businesses’ and trade relations with many countries. They could have developed the natural gas resources and provided electrical service to all its citizens that would have no equal. instead they used the money to build tunnels and buy weapons to attack Israel. The people of gaza chose their leaders and direction they wanted. many worked every day in Israel and provided the plan for the Hamas to know which homes were the most vulnerable and provide the best hostages. this plan was found and exposed. Israel has used defensive methods for years against the constant attack from Hamas. The attack in citizens set their fate. Israel made the decision that the only way to protect it’s people was to eliminate Hamas. Now at 80 I have witnessed the many times that the radicals have attacked and negotiations agreed upon only to be violated by Gaza before the ink was dry on the paper. Many nations have provided them with billions to rebuild and make the lives better for the people. Because their goals are never peace but destruction of the Jews the only answer is to await the outcome and deal with the winner. Israel has given land several times to have a peaceful existence. it has never worked. They now take back the land and drive the Hamas out. Because no one can tell who is Hamas and who is peaceful they will just eliminate them all and let their god sort them out. We now see the hypocrites in our government who support both sides that will only serve to keep the conflict going. These conflicts only provide a way to sell their war materials. time to stop making these people rich—-I, Grampa
