I can’t figure it out either! My wife who was a saint and took in over 100 foster kids into our home. Also adopted 4 special needs children! She passed away from cancer at 60 and people like Hillary Clinton seem to live forever and do nothing but destroy society!

I’m a Boomer. I grew up in a rural farming community in northern Wisconsin, back in the ’50s and ’60s. Back then boys got BB guns at 7, a .22 at ten and a hunting rifle at 14. There was a gun club in high school and we’d bring our guns to school on the bus and stash them in our lockers until after classes on Thursdays. Then we’ meet with several of the male teachers for target practice out behind the school building. Our dads and granddads had been working with us before that, teaching us how to shoot, gun safety, hunting. ammo, everything, from the time we got our first BB gun so “we didn’t shoot our eye out, kid!” Older boys had their own pick-up trucks with their rifles mounted across the back glass. they’d drive them to school and leave them in the school parking lot with the guns on full display. Guns weren’t registered, you didn’t need a license to own a firearm and you could buy a pistol, rifle and ammo direct from Sears, farm equipment stores, any department store or your neighbor down the road. You could buy one out of local newspaper ads. And guess what? Back then there were no school shootings or mass shootings like there are today. Amazing. Right?
