When BLM started protesting in the streets over racism was the first time I ever saw actual racism in public. Couldn’t go anywhere without seeing black on white racism and it’s crazy to me. So much energy focusing on skin colour and not towards the actual issues
I’m so sick of hearing about White Privileged. Where was my white privilege, nothing was ever handed to me, I worked all my life for everything I have. I joined the army so I could get my G.I. Bill and go to college. My parents weren’t rich, they were just slightly below middle class and both parents worked and my father put in countless hours of overtime to keep food in our stomachs and a roof over our heads.
