As an American woman living in the UK I’d like to thank the Wrexham men. The conduct of the USA team in the women’s world cup was appalling. They were smug and so unsportsmanlike even the Irish were hoping the English team would beat them.
As a US citizen, this outcome brings me a great deal of satisfaction.
