Early in the Covid business I was of the ‘wait and see’ mindset. It didn’t take long until the reports of drs being threatened (and pharmacists too) if they prescribed certain medications. In my lifetime I never recall that happening. I was immediately suspicious. When I recognized that they were not reporting on any of the negative things that were happening to folks, and that they did mot want people to think for themselves, I knew we were all in trouble. I appreciate that you are willing to look at both sides of an issue.
The timing was so interesting. Tucker who is often seen as the mouthpiece of the right wing media just started talking about the issues of centralised power, catering to the sponsorship and his regrets of reporting things which turned out untrue. I remember thinking when I saw his interview with Russell that this is a massive moment seeing Tucker opening up about all this. I remember saying if you’re left or right having someone like him join in with this fight was a huge victory for all of us. Now just like that he’s fired for years and years of service and a lot of popularity. I think Fox felt the puppet had started to cut some of his strings so they got rid of him. I seriously hope Tucker now calls them out for everything on a more independent and free platform. Left/right it’s just a game to keep us all divided and distract us from the corruption they are participating in on the ‘right’ and on the ‘left’. When you realise an organisation like Black Rock owns a large part of both MSNBC and Fox – it tells you all you need to know.
