Candace, while I agree with a lot of your rhetoric here around the Adidas ads, please don’t forget to acknowledge that not all LGBT individuals are like the people you see thrown into these ads or put into mainstream media. A lot of us are normal people who just want to lead normal lives. I’m 30 years old, and have not once been to a single pride festival. Not because I am ashamed of who I am, but because I don’t agree with 95% of what goes on within LGBT spaces. There are a lot of us who are good people with morals, who do not want to see this type of stuff in ads or see these opportunities taken away from women, and who respect and admire the value of the family unit.
It’s a shame that at one time this dude was considered one of the top greatest Olympic athletes to ever compete and now this. The world laughs at us as we get weaker and weaker
