Dear presenters,
Why do you say “READ” when one clicks on the “bait and switch”, one must watch a video to get what you want to say… You lose me with this “tactic” every single time. I can read everything you will say in half the time it takes to listen. I am “extremely” conservative so I am interested in what info you have available. However, I know a transcript is required to present such “news/ pitches” so why do you refuse to present in a form where better comprehension is available instead of being so enamored with your own voices. I would be highly likely to profit from knowing your thoughts but am not willing to spend twice the time required to listen with far less retention than I can accomplish by reading and saving pertinent thoughts?
My suspicion is that I am far from the only one that has this preference?
Regards and as in past occurances, I will not “listen” to this one either but I would have read the transcript had it been presented in that form “also or in print only” Retention is my prime concern and as I did not major in secretarial skills “shorthand/ etc.” I always end up not getting all I wanted to get from the presentation and had default (transcript, outline with bullet points etc.) been made available where one might actually have a chance to learn something and have a backup for continued study.
Those thoughts presented would “win” me as a follower and I am positive I am not alone,

Fred – I’m the same. I will not watch videos. WILL NOT. I keep unsubscribing but somehow I keep getting these emails. I cover a lot of ground on the internet daily, and if I had to watch videos I’d never get thru my inbox. So, I skim and read. Someday these editors will figure out they are losing viewers/readers by forcing the videos. Readers out there who agree should also send an email voicing your preference and displeasure.
I agree with you completely Fred and you too, Terri. There are programs that transcribe audio from a video. Maybe there is no one tech savvy enough to bother – or too cheap.

I cracked up laughing when I read this but hopefully it will deter illegal immigrants from crossing the Rio Grande River. Our governor of Texas Greg Abbott is doing a fabulous job at the border, and now that we have alligators also along with the buoys placed in the river, maybe this will slow down illegal cross and a little bit. I provided you with the link so that you can read the article to authenticate what I am saying. There are also more articles, just Google alligators in the Rio grande River. I live about 150 MI from the Piedras Negras/Eagle pass border and the illegal immigrants are out of control. But thanks to our Governor Abbott, he did load up a few in a bus and shipped them to Washington and had the bus drop them off in front of Kamala Harris’s house. Yay Governor Abbott! I like you, you tell the honest truth. Keep up the good work and the honest reporting.
